Soap Nuts

Soap Nuts

Soap nuts are an organic laundry detergent.  They are fragrance free, dye free, nut free, vegan, certified USDA organic and non-GMO. Can't get much better than that!

Soap nuts are actually dried soap berries from trees that grow in the Himalayas. When agitated in water they produce a naturally occurring surfactant called saponin. The soap nuts can be used as a detergent to wash clothes and as a fabric softener. Rest assured that even though there is no lather, your clothes are being cleaned. They work with all machine types (including HE) and are great for people with sensitive skin.

One box of 100 loads will save 3.125 plastic detergent bottles from winding up in the ocean or in a landfill!

Nut-allergy safe

To use: place 4-5 soap nuts in the provided wash bag and simply toss into the washer. Reuse those same soap nuts for about 10 loads, until they become brittle and lose their color.
